ATC-a-Day

Art and text copyright 2006-2011 Carolyn M. Brady

In fall 2006, I decided to start making an ATC every day for a year. I was inspired by the quilted journals I had seen at the International Quilt Festival in Rosemont, IL, and by Debbi Crane's article about her daily "Purse Book Project" in the Winter 2006 issue of Cloth Paper Scissors.

I started on October 28, 2006, mainly because I figured if I waited until the New Year, I'd completely forget the idea by then. I completed the project on October 27, 2007. I've written a short article on the project for the Spring (March 2008) issue of the ATC Quarterly.
