Rheingans family names and life dates come from "Family Tree of Mathias and Maria Rheingans" by Jean Rheingans Rand (available for $20 from Jean Rand, 4143 S Regal Manor Court, New Berlin, WI 53151). This excellent book traces the Rheingans line back to the 1700s in Rheinbollen, Rhineland, Germany and has numerous family photographs and copies of primary source documents. I have only put the "barebones" information here.

Brian Schneider's World Connect site lists more on Elizabeth Koenig's ancestry. More Koenig and Klumb/Klump family information can also be found at Patti and Brian's genealogy pages. (According to their data, Anna Margaretha Klumb's great-great grandfather was Hieronymous Klump, a great name to have in any family tree! ;o)

1920 census, Chippewa Co. Wisconsin, E.D. 70, sheet 12, lines 38-42:
John Rheingans ( age 43), Shipper of farm produce, listed with wife Emma (28), and daughters Erna (6), Esther (4) and "Dorthea" (1)
